We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Personal data is only collected to the extent necessary to provide the website and our services, or where you have given your consent (Art. 6(1) GDPR).

3. Hosting & Server Log Files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you access the website, information transmitted by your browser is automatically recorded in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, and browser and operating system details. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Integrated Third-Party Services

To display and provide live content, this website integrates third-party services. For technical reasons, your IP address is transmitted to the respective providers:

  • Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.) — the "Geist" typeface.
  • Live price ticker — price data is retrieved from CoinGecko (crypto) and, where applicable, TradingView (stocks).
  • Symbol icons — logos are loaded via icons.duckduckgo.com and CoinCap.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an appealing, functional presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where required, we obtain your consent via a cookie/consent banner.

4a. FAQ coach and artificial intelligence

When you use the FAQ coach, your question is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) for processing. The coach receives no chat history; only the current question, selected language, and relevant excerpts from the Tradelino knowledge base are processed. Answers may be cached for 24 hours to improve delivery speed. Please do not enter personal or confidential information.

5. Cookies & Tracking

This website does not use tracking or marketing cookies and does not integrate any analytics tools.

6. Contacting Us

If you contact us by email, we process your information to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data will be deleted once it is no longer required.

7. User Account & App

For a Tradelino account, we process the data provided during registration (e.g. email address, username) as well as usage data from the simulation. This processing is carried out for the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is processed at Supabase (Supabase, Inc., USA).

8. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15), rectify (Art. 16), erase (Art. 17), restrict processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object (Art. 21 GDPR). Any consent given can be withdrawn at any time with future effect.

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence or of the place of the alleged infringement.
